Android 3.0 Gingerbread
OS
Android 3.0 Gingerbread Operating System is the upcoming new
user interface for Android. Many people are looking forward to
see this operating system because Android is getting more robust
with each upgrade. The users who are beta testing the Android
3.0 Gingerbread operating system are reporting favorable results.
So what would be the useful additions to the Android 3.0 Gingerbread
Operating System? Well, you may have conducted research before
in order to know more about this new operating system, but did
not find many details until now.
First, Android 3.0 Gingerbread Operating System will actually
be released this upcoming October, probably around the 15th to
16th of the month.
The minimum requirement for the hardware that you need for getting
the Android 3.0 operating system is about 1GHz of CPU, 3.5'' of
display and 512MB of RAM. Of course, this would just be the minimum
requirement. Like all devices, more RAM and hard drive space mean
more room to play.
If your cell phone, Blackberry or other device has a 4'' display
or more, you will enjoy a 1280x760 resolution. This is one of
the new features included in the Android 3.0 Gingerbread Operating
System. Another system which can provide a similar interface,
is the Gallery App on Nexus One.
With the use of Android 3.0 Gingerbread Operating System, users
can exclude the need for installing some other interface shells
such as HTC Sense or MotoBlur. The operating system would support
a lot of different features and those shells will not be needed.
The rumor is that 2 GHz CPU's are on the way, but it is unknown
at this time if it will be in time for the Android Gingerbread
update. Curiously, though it looks like the new Android Gingerbread
will be just in time for Christmas.
